I have nothing as much as an idea at present on what I feel I could do for my major. At least nothing that I really know what could make a difference to the web and be an innovative entry to a catalogue of great existing ideas. I would of designed a search engine, but I’ve been told that’s been done.

so what am i doing? . . .

well it would appear I am putting it out the question into the world that’s on all our minds.

what would you want from the web that it can’t give to you all ready? can i produce it for you? is it feasible? well? . . . . ?

For all you os x people out there that still use office to record job info and design your invoices, check this out! I have found Billing really useful to time and record my projects. With this program your are able to do a number of things like send your invoice to the client and collate your job info and finances. VAT and all!

Work Experience – Final

Throughout my work experience I have managed to successfully carry out tasks and complete them. Especially In the last tree weeks, which have not been posted has effectively more challenging. In these weeks I have progressed to taking on bigger clients and complying with tighter deadlines.

Some examples of work I have been doing; Emporium, Forres Sandle Manor and BJ Mailing.

Again, in these weeks I have expanded my knowledge and further adapted these sites I was working on before. These adaptions such as; html validation, css modifications and image inhancements. I also have adapted my own website from th eknowledge I have gained and further more been studying new techniques such as ‘jquery‘.

From what I have learnt and shown at creativebyte, I have proven to be an effective member of the company and by being so, i have been asked to remain apart of the company throughout the summer, paid.

In the remainder of my time at this comapny I will see through a bigger project at hand. This project offers me experience with more java, ajax and php with a content management system. This is indeed what I need to know and use for my final year at bournemout university and my future in this feild.

Work Experience – Day 15 – Half Way Analysis

Over the last three week I have proved to be an effective member of the team in regards to; producing ideas, professional work and practical solutions. Socially, I have enjoyed working with the team and meeting their clients. The atmosphere in the working environment is something I have adapted to well with no difficulty.

I have worked on three projects that have been challenging and educational. With these projects I have been able to carry them out successfully and to the best of my ability.

In these next three weeks I would like to improve my skills within the feild and take on more tasks. I would also like the chance to explore more in different programs and see if I can have a hand in some of the other projects at present.
